A Giant Leap For Sound

Music these days is as much about compact acts in far flung intimate venues as big sounds on big stages. Creating a unique sound is vital to stand out. Adding the perfect rhythmic accompaniment or special effect to lift your sound and capture the imagination often helps create that special moment that engages your audience. Improvisation and adapting your song structure and tempo in the moment are also key.

“When I’m on stage and improvising to the audience’s response, I want a back beat that can keep up and follow me, adding punch when and where I need it”, says Dr Helmer, CEO of Superinteractive and seasoned performer.

The advent of professional sound apps on mobile devices has led to significant growth in new ways of performing music. Increasingly musicians are playing two instruments or more at once and need simple and reliable ways of playing that second instrument. Tapping your feet comes naturally and is an obvious choice for instrument control. Having an instrument that is small, lightweight and easy to set up is great when you set up and start playing right in front of the audience.

“I need my equipment to be simple to set up and use and Stomp Pad is just that. It super responsive and feels natural, you just plug it in, step or stomp on it and it works. Stomp Pad is also super compact and fits in my pocket. Any muso will tell you, you don’t want to be lugging around heavy gear!”, Dr Helmer said.
